This kit has three purposes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt properly positions the lower shock so that you don't have any rubbing on the lower coil bucket or actual coil during articulation.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis normally happens on lifted Wranglers when the axle is rolled up to work with a Cv style driveshaft. It gains you ground clearance.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis kit requires removing the OEM lower shock mount which is discarded.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe new shock mount welds in behind the lower OEM control arm bracket. By welding this 3\/16 laser cut and bent bracket to the lower control bracket and axle tube you in tern strengthen this mount.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWelding and cutting is required to install this kit.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSold as a pair with Hardware.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNote:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMay Not be compatible with all shock types.
